Durand Foundation Inaugural Reception
by Vivian Fransen

Many thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Michael Harrer of Haddonfield, NJ, for opening their home and hearts for the Durrand Foundation Inaugural Reception.

On May 21, 2004, Dr. and Mrs. Michael Harrer of Haddonfield, NJ, opened their home and hearts to host the Inaugural Reception of the Durand Foundation, the fundraising arm of Durand Academy and Community Services. Their historic residence with majestic features located on Kings Highway was the perfect setting for friends of Durand to celebrate the work of Durand and help create momentum for the Durand Foundation to move forward in their fundraising pursuits.

“We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported these events,” declares Joseph Spinner, who serves on the Durand Foundation leadership board and as a trustee of Durand Academy and Community Services. “Our goal for such events is for everyone to have a great time. It’s a wonderful feeling to help make a difference in the lives of children with special needs and their families.”
